Crafting a brand as solid as the homes they build

Jaywark Construction is a residential builder known for crafting high-quality, custom homes that reflect the unique vision of each client. To match the strength and precision of their work, Jaywark needed a visual identity that communicated craftsmanship, reliability, and attention to detail. The goal was to create a brand system that would feel just as strong on a job site as it does in a client’s hands, building recognition across every touchpoint.

Logo Inspiration

The image shows the formula for the inspiration behind the idea of the logo. A capital letter J followed by a plus sign, then a hammer, which than equals a modified letter J that uses negative space to reveal the silhouette of a hammer inside it.

Logo construction

Color Scheme

A color palette featuring four branded colors for Jaywark containing candlelight yellow, black, charcoal grey, and white. Each box includes RGB values, CMYK values, hex codes, and Pantone references.

Typography

Typography guideline that showcases both regular and bold variations of Century Gothic as the chosen supporting typeface.

A visual system that works as hard as they do

The new identity system combines bold design with functional clarity. The logo mark, a stylized “J” with a hammer silhouette, highlights Jaywark’s hands-on expertise. The strong sans-serif name mark reinforces a no-nonsense, trustworthy presence. Supporting typography is simple and legible, ideal for signage and blueprints, while a neutral color palette conveys timelessness and durability. From branded workwear and business cards to vehicle graphics and carpenter pencils, every detail reinforces the brand’s commitment to quality craftsmanship. The result is a visual system that feels durable, dependable, and recognizable as the homes they build.

Graphic Pattern
